First learnings of the year
First, we need to share that unfortunately we are not joining the Stacks accelerator. Our team needs some reinforcement to fully fill the ambitious expectations of such a program. Therefore, since we received the committee’s feedback, we processed their wonderful information to go back to our mission and vision with a renewed positive and creative mind. The most important outcome is that we are looking to a co-founder with management skills: a blockchain technical profile with with operational skills would be optimal. We are opened to listen and improve our project, but any candidate interested will need to embrace our mission and vision.
Mvp Update
We announced we would start testing our Mvp-1 (Private Studios settings) this month and Mvp-2 (NFTs Licensing-private sales) in March.
But, the development of our new interface came with more problems than expected. Some necessary updates are taking more time than expected, but we want to have a secure and better experience for you, and it makes no sense to rush now.
We are sorry for the delay, and we have to apologise.
We are now fixing some last minute issues and hope things are getting back in track, so we can send you the mvp soon and get started testing.
Present steps
No doubt that this year did not start as well as we expected. Nevertheless, we actually feel ready for the new challenges, and we are taking new initiatives: a) to complete the functionality of the app, and b) to grow our community to have a better feedback and support from users. It’s the only way we can introduce Smartists to investors in order to progress.
On my side, as an author-illustrator myself, my editor and I decided to support Smartists by helping launch a collection of NFTs with our brand-logo, Mirlo.
Actually, launching an NFT collection is for me another project of its own. It requires energy and dedication, and it takes me back to the mission and vision of Smartists. I am happy to be doing this on my own, but with the invaluable support of the Stacks technical advice from members of the community. I am also grateful to Mirlo Music for this partnership.
Somehow, my two worlds are converging at this point. It is a wonderful sensation and I hope it can be beneficial, as it may also provide visibility for new use-cases. Here I leave you the brand-new landing page for our MIRLOs NFTs while we are getting ready for minting.
Our journey goes on. Join our Discord server for next updates and interesting discussion taking place around the services we envision on the web3: nfts, copyrights, storage, identifiers…!
Or keep updated here!
My best wishes for everyone of you!
