On the web3 decentralisation is allowing to recover time and control over your life and your projects. New ways for communication and collaboration are being developed for communities united by their common interests. maybe someone can recall the times do good old forums in the first Internet. Today, members of communities on the web3 have a similar vibe, but nowadays there is much more they can do together, apart from chatting.
As part of the founding team , I feel very happy to introduce you today here: MIRLOS
MIRLOS is a community of Artists and Educators born at Mirlo. Studio with the simple idea of starting a conversation about Music, the Arts, the Humanities and Education, as well as to create a digital library with educational contents.
MIRLOS is a meeting point for artist and educators to connect directly, chat and make decisions together just like if we were in family.
MIRLOS' mission is to build a digital library of educational contents with a focus in Music, the Arts and the Humanities in order to inspire the way of next generations of children and youngsters.
MIRLOS was born at Mirlo.Studio as a spin off Smartists. This way, independent artists and educators can work together and participate in the design of a new platform for educators where we are testing new ways to share contents on the web, always with the due respect for fundamental rights that need to be preserved for next generations, such as Privacy and Freedom of Speech.
Where is MIRLOS?
After some research we chose the Console app, where you can collaborate with hundreds of people never revealing your phone number nor your e-mail.
Console is a group chat app designed for communities on the web3, and we hope it will help MIRLOS grow, collaborate and enjoy good conversations in a more secure and private setting.
You won't find us neither in Telegram, nor on Discord, nor in the old Social Media 2.0 which surveil us and can make an undesirable use of our data any time.
How to enter the chat?
You will need an Xverse wallet (a Stacks-Bitcoin wallet). Once you have it, you can go to the chat without any other identifier more.
You will need to follow these 5 steps :
Install the Xverse extension
pin the app in the browser for an easy access
create your wallet
write down and keep safely your seed-phrase of 12 words (in order)
create a password for the its use in the device you are using.
