2025, the year for tokenization

As we enter 2025 with new plans, a whole set of questions arise at Mirlo Studio, from where I am writing these lines.
Digitization vs Digitalization vs Tokenization
At the dawn of the Internet, the trend of making your workplace proficient made you digitize your paper stuff by scanning and saving everything in your computer. Later on, digitalization meant using apps as intermediaries in all your online interactions with customers, clients, partners, and even your family…
They told us digitalization was the only way to the future. But, what if there was a better way, an improved way? What about tokenizing your valuable assets and being able to exchange it on the Internet with others directly? Could it be possible to buy and sell on the Internet without the intervention of third parties, just with the power of technology?
Tokenization is the first step to take advantage of the new online emerging economy. If you feel lost about this concept, you need to start your own research, and understand what the Internet of Value is, a new era only possible thanks to blockchain technology, and especially Bitcoin.
Some tools for independent artists to consider in 2025

At Mirlo Studio, we are committed to tokenize real world artworks and embrace new phygital experiences. We are just exploring the new possibilities, and we are preparing our new setting to do so. We will come with more news soon.
To make actually valuable tokenized assets from the ones you used to promote on the web 2 (the Social Media Internet) or in the real world, we think that you actually need to apply some forward thinking. It is not just about having your message out there as an artist, but it is mainly about genuinely connecting with your followers, now your community members, in a Peer to Peer -P2P- way, with a Value for Value -V4V- mindset.
Artificial Intelligence can surely provide new means in 2025, especially in order to update some of your ready-made artworks that you want to tokenize as new art to better reach at today and future audiences. This is the only real application for AI that we are considering at this point in our studio.
The Information Web and the Social Web needs to keep up with the new needs of creator users that are tokenizing their creations. In this new paradigm we want enhanced respect for privacy, freedom of expression and property, in all our communications. So far, we have ditched apps and platforms that were blatantly surveillant, and we keep recommending you to choose carefully your browser and search engine with this rightful claim in mind. It’s on you to choose a technology for Freedom.
As you may know, if you are a Smartists long-time subscriber, we have been using BlockSurvey to connect in a confidential P2P way, and we will keep using this excellent service as we move forward. Moreover, as for today, we can also suggest you to start exploring Nostr via Primal and new podcast solutions like fountain.fm… At first sight these tools may still look complicated to use. But I believe that the effort to learn about and test them are worth it.
